Position Profile:

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing for StarFish Medical and ViVitro Labs Inc., the Administrative Assistant helps deliver content for websites, social media, advocate programs, and events. The ideal Administrative Assistant will have prior administrative experience, the organizational capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere, the ability to follow instructions on detailed tasks, and the experience to push through problems and accomplish challenging projects. The satisfaction that comes from doing a great job, and helping support marketing to make the organization successful, are driving motivators for you. Confident, self-motivated and collaborative, the Administrative Assistant (Marketing) will enjoy hands-on work, a combination of creative and detailed organizational activities, and delivering great results on a tight budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect metrics that monitor effectiveness of lead generation programs including content, events, direct marketing campaigns, social media, website, etc.
  • Organize marketing meeting calendars and logistics.
  • Monitor and post social media content.
  • Review all external facing content for consistency with Brand Identity guidelines.
  • Assist project managers in collecting and managing loyalty and advocate program elements including photographs of client visits, and CRM/mailing lists.
  • Organize, maintain and assist easy access and re-use of marketing content.
  • Work with technical employees to create, edit, and publish content including blogs, videos, brochures and presentations.

Qualifications and Abilities:

  • A positive can-do attitude with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and help get the job done.
  • A flexible, confident personality with a collaborative approach.
  • At least two years of administrative support in a dynamic environment, and experience in a B2B technology company or in the medical device industry would be considered a plus.
  • A degree or diploma in administration, marketing, or communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience generating content for multiple mediums including social media, websites, newsletters, product collateral, whitepapers, news releases, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Photography and basic image editing knowledge would be a bonus.
  • B2B social media posting/sharing.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with outside contractors.
  • Highly organized, with strong time management skills and very detail oriented.
