Director of Operations – Canadian Emergency Ventilator Inc.

We have a unique opportunity in Toronto, ON, for a Director of Operations with product management experience to join Canadian Emergency Ventilator Inc. The Director will report to the CEO of StarFish Holdings and will have full responsibility for the strategic oversight and operations for all aspects of this business. This will include driving sales, managing contract negotiations and building client relations. The product management responsibilities encompass all aspects for the clinical testing, product safety, quality and regulatory requirements, warranty and customer service. The Director of Operations will be directly responsible for the warehouse operations and a small team.

Our Ideal Candidate Brings:

  • Bachelor degree in business or post-secondary education in a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience of product management, previous Product Services and/or Operations Manager experience is preferred
  • Successful track record of mentoring, coaching, developing and leading teams
  • Experience in contract and asset management
  • Possess a strong sense of business development and is customer-focused; the incumbent will be dealing with suppliers and customers internationally
  • Demonstrated ability to define strategic plans and setting objectives, targets and accountability including experience delivering KPI’s
  • Experience managing budgets, people and technology for continuous improvement influencing resources and outcomes, and strong steward of revenues/expenses
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying and evaluating sales opportunities, unique ideas, approaches and techniques for delivering improved revenue, product quality and operational efficiency
