Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Consulting Services and Operations is responsible for directing and overseeing the company’s primary value creation and supporting operations. You are a strong team leader and talent developer across a broad spectrum of roles, including Director and VP level executives.  You prefer to coach than provide answers. You love curating wisely considered systems that balance reliability with appropriate flexibility while preserving and enhancing our innovation mandate. You love context-setting and understand the importance of nuance.  You are truly collaborative (not just as a way to get buy-in), a great listener, trustworthy, and bring agility, sound judgement and business acumen to your decision-making. You are a deliberate culture builder that understands the impact that decision making has on culture.  You navigate the tricky balance between the following imperatives with ease: innovation and efficiency; being employee focused and client-focused; trust and oversight; getting stuff done and be aspirational; being part of and managing.  As part of the senior team, the satisfaction that comes from helping set the organization’s strategic direction while collaborating cross-functionally for optimal results are driving motivators for you. You bring your considerable social wisdom to bear on making sure things are going smoothly.  And you direct performance in the right direction and pursue team development amidst evolving circumstances.

  • Monthly All-hands meetings
  • Strong Team orientation and collaborative environment
  • An active social committee tasked with coming up with fantastic employee events. Some events cater to the individual and others to their family or Covid-bubble.

  • Responsible for the planning and performance of the company’s core operations in collaboration with the CEO, including developing priorities and appropriate performance and financial metrics.
  • As a key member of the senior leadership team, provide overall organizational and business leadership to the growing corporation, bringing a leadership focus to sustaining and evolving the culture, establishing priorities, and building operational behaviours and habits.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Oversee the operations of five departments through their leaders to provide direction and support, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, development and achievement of measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive continuous improvement in performance, learning and internal processes to ensure a sustainable foundation for future growth.
  • Participate in the annual planning and budgeting process responsible for accurate reporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Ensure a strong quality management system is embedded in all operations and regulatory requirements are consistently met to minimize risk.
  • Report to the Advisory Board from time to time.
