Marking the sixth year of collaboration, StarFish Medical to offer Biomedical Engineering students course on Human Factors and Usability Engineering for Medical Devices at the University of Victoria.
In collaboration with StarFish Medical, the University of Victoria’s BME program is offering third and fourth year students a course on Human Factors and Usability Engineering in the Spring 2024. The course, BME 401C – Human Factors and Usability Engineering for Medical Devices will cover the regulatory framework and regulatory standards for developing medical devices as well as the human factors associated with biomedical device design, including ergonomics and usability. This marks the sixth year of collaboration.
