Salary

Base Salary: USD 67,600 – 84,500

Annual variable compensation: Target of 0-5% of base salary, tied to goal achievement

Additional Compensation: Employees are eligible for a profit-sharing program

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate with our remote IT support team for on-site tech needs
  • Oversee the general operation and maintenance of offices, shops, labs, and common areas across the Irvine site
  • Perform light repairs, equipment maintenance, and facility improvements (painting, workspace setup, shelving, etc)
  • Support the prototype and machine shop with hands-on tasks, tool organization, and technical workspace readiness
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for scheduled services, maintenance, and compliance inspections (e.g., janitorial, alarm, hazardous waste)
  • Manage HVAC, air compressors, DI water systems, pest control, and other building systems
  • Procure and organize tools, hardware, and materials; facilitate pickups and deliveries to local suppliers
  • Maintain company vehicles and shared equipment, such as forklifts

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, machine shop, or manufacturing settings
  • Experience supporting basic IT issues or working with an IT service desk.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools and equipment
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and problem-solving by nature
  • Valid driver’s license (you’ll be driving company vehicles locally)
  • Able to safely lift and move materials (assistance available as needed)

Nice to Have:

  • Background in engineering R&D, prototyping, or regulated industries
  • Forklift certification or interest in getting one
  • Familiarity with facility safety and compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
  • Painting and finishing experience (walls, prototypes, or workbenches)
