June 23, 2017 (Victoria, BC) – StarFish Medical is pleased to announce that The Levo System from Otoharmonics won Gold in the Digital Health Products and Mobile Medical Apps category of the 2017 Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA), recognizing the technological achievements of medical device manufacturers.

Utilizing an FDA-cleared evidence-based approach, the Levo System offers a patented method to provide personalized sound therapy for tinnitus while sleeping. The Levo System is currently available throughout the United States, Canada and the UK.

Awards are granted across nine categories, announcing gold, silver and bronze medal winners in each category. The MDEA ceremony was sponsored by Philips-Medisize held in conjunction with Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) East, which is taking place this week at the Jacob K.
