Scott Phillips to speak October 9 at INTERFACE 2013 Vancouver BC

Scott Phillips, President and CEO of StarFish Medical, will be speaking on How to take a new product to the market in healthcare and succeed and participating in the Market Access industry panel October 9, 2013, at INTERFACE 2013, Vancouver BC.   INTERFACE 2013 brings the world’s leading experts, innovators, disruptors and serious thinkers together to talk about digital health.

Scott’s participation includes:

10:00 – 10:45            Market Access  with Moderator, Michael Bidu—Sanotron; and panelists Graham Whitmarsh, former Deputy Minister, BC Ministry of Health; Jeremy Smith, PITO BC Medical Association; and Dr. Kevin Peterson, University of Minnesota.

3:00 – 3:30    How to take a new product to the market in healthcare and succeed   Drawing upon his personal experiences helping almost 100 companies bring new medical devices to market, Scott will include anecdotes, lessons learned, and methodology including the PathFinder Process™.

INTERFACE 2013 Digital Health International Summit is SANOTRON’s second annual event. It is a three-day event that is designed to engage, inform, inspire and connect digital health innovators and other key stakeholders.

Scott Phillips Bio:

Scott holds a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia. Prior to starting StarFish, he worked in diverse areas such as lithium battery development and manufacturing, UV spectroscopy instrumentation and hi-fi audio speakers. Under his leadership StarFish Medical has become a leading Medical Device Design company with a full complement of design, development, and manufacturing services.
