David Dobson
VICTORIA, B.C., May 1, 2017— StarFish Medical expands its Business Development team to meet growing demand. David Dobson has rejoined the company as VP, Business Development – Western North America. Charles Garcia is named VP, Business Development – Eastern North America. Both executives report directly to CEO, Scott Phillips, as part of the StarFish Medical Leadership Team.
Dobson and Garcia are responsible for all aspects of StarFish Medical sales in their respective regions, including Medical Device Design and Engineering Services, Quality Management System (QMS) Solutions and low to moderate volume finished Manufacturing Services.

Combining Product and business development with strong medical device experience
David Dobson joins StarFish Medical from Invetech. Dobson’s product development experience spans over 30 years of Program Management, General Management and Business Development – both in the USA and in Canada. He has led large R&D organizations in corporate settings (Director of Global Product Development for Kensington, General Manager Radius Product Development) and worked with leading technology consulting firms such as Invetech. Dobson’s educational background includes a diploma, degree and executive education from OCADU, the University of Guelph and Queen’s University School of Business.
