Attributes its 2008-2012 Revenue Growth to employees, advisory board, clear vision and objectives
Victoria BC—October 2, 2013—StarFish Medical, a medical device design, development, and manufacturing services provider, today announced that it ranked number 78 on Business Vancouver’s 2013 list of Fastest-growing companies in B.C. Companies are ranked by percentage growth in revenue between 2008 and 2012.
StarFish Medical CEO Scott Phillips credits his employees, advisory board, and being clear on the vision and objectives as key factors in driving StarFish revenue growth over the five years. “Growing a mature execution-oriented company from our entrepreneurial roots required implementing and running a proper management system. Firms on this year’s top 100 list collectively generated 2,110% average revenue growth between 2006 and 2012. That’s up from the 1,543% in five-year revenue growth from the companies on BIV’s 2012 list of top 100 fastest-growing companies in B.C.
B.C.’s technology sector continued to dominate the list with 32 companies, the largest single sector represented on the list. Collectively, they posted average growth of 426% with revenues rising to $893.6 million in 2012 from $342.8 million in 2008.
