StarFish partnered with the client’s engineering resource to develop a multi-modality (PET, ESPECT & CT) laboratory instrument for imaging small animals. Our major responsibility was the Industrial Design, the external skin engineering and DFMA. The client asked us to build a full-scale non-functional mock-up which was an opportunity to push our 4X8 CNC router to its full capabilities.
