VANCOUVER, BC – Biolux Research Ltd. announced today that it has received approval from Health Canada to market the OsseoPulse Bone Regeneration System in Canada. The OsseoPulseTM is classified by Health Canada as a Class II medical device, and received a Medical Device Licence for the system and its components. The licence was applied for in partnership with StarFish Medical of Victoria, BC.
“Issue of the licence from Health Canada is a key milestone in our plan to commercialize the OsseoPulseTM product. It enables marketing and sales of the product directly in Canada, as well as establishes county of origin approval to support export to overseas markets,” states Kevin Strange, President and CEO of Biolux. “We look forward to introducing the OsseoPulseTM to the Canadian market at dental implant and regeneration conferences in the third quarter of this year, and to the Korean market with our distribution partner DIO Implant.”
